Malbasic leaves and Iván Alejo stays after not signing for Valladolid

The last hours of the market in Cádiz have meant two exits: Jorge Pombo on loan to Oviedo and Filip Malbasic, which has finally been terminated by the yellow set. The other exit that was expected today was that of Iván Alejo to Valladolid, but finally the Pucelano club and the cadista have not reached an agreement and the winger will continue in Cádiz.

The departure of Filip Malbasic had been an open secret for days, but it was not until the last moment that his departure was executed. Finally, Cádiz has reached an agreement with the striker to end the commitment that bound them until 2023. “The Cádiz Football Club has informed Filip Malbasic that it ceases to belong to the entity. The Serbian player arrived in Cádiz in the 2019/20 season in the winter market on loan from Tenerife. After getting the promotion with the yellow set, the entity executed its mandatory purchase. Last season Malbasic did not have much prominence in Álvaro Cervera's team despite participating in 38 games, but he only accumulated 846 minutes. Now, his stage as a cadista is coming to an end.

Iván Alejo, hurt with Valladolid

I made the best effort of my career to come back and a commitment was broken that made me reject many options. My commitment to Cádiz will be total and my spirit from a distance ”, he declared.
