Madrid hosts this Sunday the XVIII Women’s Race

Madrid will host this Sunday the second round of the 18th edition of the circuit of La Carrera de la Mujer Central Lechera Asturiana, which will be held on a circuit of more than 7 kilometers that will start from Calle Serrano and whose latest news will be announced this Wednesday in its Official presentation.

The presentation ceremony will take place at the Mom Culinary Institute by Paco Roncero & CHA with the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Madrid, Begoña Villacís; the winner of the last edition of the race, Tamara Sanfabio, the Paralympic athlete Carmen Giménez and representatives of Zapatillas Solidarias and Proyecto Esperanza, organizations that help women in situations of exclusion and vulnerability.

In addition, during the event the ‘Women’s Career Cover’ will be presented, which has been prepared by the students of MOM Culinary Institute by Paco Roncero & CHA. Registration, open since last March, will be held until the 30,000 places available for a test that collaborates with a multitude of charitable purposes are completed. The classification will be organized in different individual and collective categories.

The XVIII Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race in Madrid will start at 9:00 a.m. on Calle Serrano in Madrid on May 8, with the finish line at Paseo de Camoens after traveling 7.2 kilometers.

It is the second test of a circuit that has eight appointments and that started in Valencia last April. After the capital of Spain, the race will pass through Vitoria, Gijón, A Coruña, Seville, Zaragoza and Barcelona.
