Atlético are in talks with Olympique de Lyon to sign Moussa Dembélé. After negotiations with Napoli over Milik failed to come to fruition, the rojiblanco club has set its sights on the 24-year-old French striker. According to the French press, Simeone himself has already spoken with Dembélé and has convinced him that he will be important in the mattress project. Lyon's Olynpique, meanwhile, has got down to work to cover their backs and find a replacement for Dembélé. The chosen one is the Algerian from Leicester Islam Slimani.
The Olympique de Lyon coach also spoke about the possibility that Dembélé would end up at Atlético: “He is one of our important players. We'd rather you stay, but we'll see. But if any player, in particular Moussa (Dembélé), left, he would have to be replaced ”.
In principle, the agreement between Atlético and Olympique de Lyon would be closed with a loan until the end of the season and a mandatory purchase option of around € 30 million next season.
