The youth Ilaix Moriba debuts in a list of the first team

Ronald Koeman continues to bet on young people and in this case on home talent. The transfer of Carles Aleñá to Getafe in the winter market has opened the doors to a player who, despite playing with the subsidiary, still has a youth record: the Guinean midfielder, Ilaix Moriba. At just 17 years old, Ilaix will hardly forget today: for the first time he has been summoned for an official match with the first team. Moriba was already on Koeman's first list of the preseason, against Nástic de Tarragona on September 12, but, after that meeting, he entered García Pimienta's plans in the subsidiary, disappearing from the first team's radar.

Now Ilaix already had several consecutive days in dynamics again of the first team, especially after the confirmation of the loan of Aleñá to the azulón club. With a marvelous physique, his game stands out for the power and intimidation capacity in the core.

Evidently, to see him play we will still have to wait a few days: the Copa del Rey tie on January 20 against Cornellà it seems the ideal setting for his official debut with the first team.

In the rest of the summoned for the Granada party few surprises: it is low Clement Lenglet, by accumulation of cards, and the Brazilian Matheus Fernandes returns.

In the infirmary they continue Ansu Fati, Gerard Piqué, Sergi Roberto and Philippe Coutinho.

The Blaugrana expedition plans to leave El Prat airport today at 7:00 p.m. and land in the Nasrid capital at 8:30 p.m.
