The Ludogorets of Rasgrad was proclaimed this Sunday for the ninth consecutive time champion of the Bulgarian first division, after defeating Stara Sagora 2-1.
With four days to go before the league final, the serial champion can no longer be ousted from the first position of the table having a 14 point advantage over CSKA Sofia, which tied today 3-3 with rival Levski from the capital.
For the Ludogorets, founded in 2001, it is the ninth championship in its young history as a first division club (since 2010/11).
