The Swiss Kalle Koblet failed a few meters from the start and lost any chance of a medal.

Also participating in the test were the Spaniards Antoni Toledo, who finished 35th, one tenth off the cut; Álvaro Romero, who was 43rd; and Bernat Ribera, who could not start.

“I'm happy with today. In the final one hit me, I lost a lot of speed and I couldn't catch him anymore. A shame, since at the bottom I could have attacked a lot. But happy for third place. Last year I started fourth and now we are starting better like this. We are going for everything this season,” said Eguibar. The next test will be in Cervinia (Italy) on December 15 and 16.
