Las Palmas and Levante, direct duel in the countdown

MADRID, 20 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Las Palmas and Levante meet this Saturday in a direct duel for direct promotion on matchday 37 of LaLiga SmartBank, two open places with five applicants in irregular mode in the countdown to the end of the season.

One more year, the Spanish Second Division reaches its final days on the surface. Six before the end of the course, Eibar (65 points) and Granada (64) occupy the first two places that give direct access to LaLiga Santander, while Las Palmas (62), Alavés (62), Levante (61) and Albacete (55) occupy the promotion zone.

Everything in a handkerchief, Albacete a little more off the hook, after a last day in which everyone but Granada and La Mancha stumbled. They all live on income and the cake will be shared among them, but the pools are open at the moment of not failing with the start of an always exciting countdown.

Matchday 37 leaves a direct duel between a Las Palmas that held the lead until not long ago but that has only won a seven-game match and a Levante that also lost its spectacular streak. Gran Canaria needs three points of faith, while the ‘granota’ team wants to stick to second place.

For their part, Eibar, after four games without winning, will defend their leadership in the duel that opens the day this Friday against Real Zaragoza. Meanwhile, Granada, after defeating Las Palmas, hopes to gain momentum against a Racing team that is looking for salvation. Alavés, in search of the lost goal, receives a revived Leganés with Carlos Martínez on his bench and Albacete will defend the ‘Top 6’ against Villarreal B.
