LaLiga presents the new soundtrack of the competition fusing football and technology

MADRID, 29 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

LaLiga has presented this Tuesday the new soundtrack that will accompany the competition, composed by Ramón Rodríguez, known for his band The New Raemon, with a work that fuses the world of football and technology, according to a statement.

The leader of one of the most influential bands in indie pop rock in Spain, also a composer of pieces for cinema and advertising, has been commissioned to create the new soundtrack for LaLiga EA Sports 2023-2024. Its essence lies in the fusion between the world of football and technology, to “make way for an immersive sound universe that accompanies fans at matches, through more contemporary and alternative sounds”.

This new essence is also visible thanks to the song ‘Song 2’ by the British band Blur, which opens the matches. A ‘hymn’ historically linked to sports and video games, with “energy and intention”. Starting from the anthem, the audio branding agency Sixième Son developed a musical system to make it “more ergonomic and adapt it to all contact points”.

And it is that LaLiga has worked on a sound system to transform the sound identity of the competition, with a soundtrack “that amplifies the energy and passion of football” and reflects “the multicultural and diverse reality of the 42 clubs that make up the institution”. . To do this, they incorporate guitar riffs, inclusive choruses and ‘glitches’.

Thus, the new sound universe that accompanies the fans in the matches is made up of the pieces ‘Tension Rising’, ‘Line Up’, ‘Warm up’, ‘Powerful Anthem’, ‘Highlights’, ‘Epic International’ and ‘Sonic Logo’. In addition, the new LaLiga music will soon be available on the music platforms Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon, among others.
