MADRID, 5 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

This Thursday, LaLiga started a special service within ‘Mediacoach’, its video and data analysis platform, which will promote the continuous training of technicians with a proven track record in LaLiga, a pilot project that is currently open to coaches who do not have equipment.

This pilot project contemplates the opening of a new service on the ‘Mediacoach’ platform that will allow coaches to access a large part of the performance data of the LaLiga EA Sports and LaLiga Hypermotion clubs, with the aim of promoting links to a “especially demanding” competition for technicians.

For this pilot test, a sample of technicians with proven track records and experience in LaLiga clubs who know the platform and are part of the group of coaches who could lead a team in both competitions in the coming months or seasons have been chosen. Later, the project will develop and expand its scope.

Among the technicians who will test the service are names such as Míchel González, Rubi, Pablo Machín, Robert Moreno, Gaizka Garitano, Julio Velázquez, Lucas Alcaraz, Luis Miguel Ramis, Pep Lluis Martí, Aitor Karanka or Julián Calero, among others.

In this way, elite technicians without a team will have access to continuous training in the use of the ‘Mediacoach’ platform and will be updated when joining a team, which will help reduce the adaptation period and enhance competitiveness. of the teams and keep the demand and intensity in the competitions high.

A study published by the CIES Observatory in 2021 placed LaLiga as the first of the 31 analyzed (including all the major European leagues) both in distances traveled by players and in distances traveled at high speed, which gives an idea of the demand physics, speed and rhythm that must be adapted to in the competition.

Ricardo Resta, director of ‘Mediacoach’ in LaLiga, has highlighted that Spain is also “a generator of talent at the technical level”, and that it has always been recognized for “the tactical level of its teams” and the physical demands of the competitions. “In clubs, great sophistication has been achieved in the use of Mediacoach transversally by different areas. Therefore, we believe that giving access to a special service to coaches who are in the candidate circuit helps maintain the quality of the competition,” he added.

LaLiga is the only major European football competition that has a tool created by the competition itself. At a technical level, it collects a very high volume of data that is generated in real time during each match thanks to the 3 tactical cameras and up to 16 different high-resolution fixed perimeter cameras for optical tracking that are installed in each LaLiga EA stadium. Sports and LaLiga Hypermotion.
