LaLiga and EA Sports FIFA 22 promote the Week Against Racism

MADRID, 16 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

LaLiga Week Against Racism, a LaLiga initiative in collaboration with EA Sports FIFA 22, kicks off this Wednesday with the aim of raising public awareness of the importance of eradicating this scourge in all areas of society, reports the employers of clubs in a statement.

The project includes ‘on’ and ‘offline’ activations that will culminate on March 21, the date on which the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination is celebrated.

Among the actions that will be carried out are ‘Together vs Racism’, an initiative of LaLiga and EA Sports FIFA 22 that will include an exclusive kit available in the game from Friday the 18th until the end of the season. In addition, various ‘vanities’ can be seen in the game to sensitize the most ‘gamers’.

In social networks, a filter will be added to LaLiga’s Instagram profile, which will be active during these days, so that all users who wish to join the initiative and leave their mark against racism.

In addition, in the matches of matchday 29 of LaLiga Santander, it has been proposed to the clubs that the starting eleven of the matches take the field with the shirts created for the initiative and the tag #TogethervsRacism.

During these days, you will also be able to see stories that players and other club members have wanted to share with fans to leave their mark against racism. Participating in this action were Borja Iglesias (Real Betis); Carlos Akapo (Cadiz CF); Jonas Ramalho (CA Osasuna); Monchi (Sevilla FC) and Jesús Owono (Deportivo Alavés).

Numerous clubs and players have also joined the LaLiga Week against Racism, calling fans to action to end racism, in the case of Aubameyang (FC Barcelona); Yannick Carrasco (Athletic Madrid); Joaquín (Real Betis) or Arnaut Danjuna (Villarreal CF), among others.
