The Bulgarian player Dimitar Kuzmanov beat the seed in two sets number one, the French Hugo Gaston, 6-3 and 6-0 in the final of the challenger Emilio Sánchez Academy in Barcelona.

In the doubles category, Harri Heliövaara and Roman Jebavý were proclaimed champions, defeating Nuno Borges and Francisco Cabral.
The tournament has in its record the titles of the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz (2020), Roberto Carballés (2018) and the Italian Salvatore Caruso (2019).
