BAXI Manresa’s Argentine power forward Juampi Vaulet was injured this Thursday during training at the Nou Congost and will be out for about 12 weeks, forced to undergo surgery for a rupture of the scapholunate ligament in his left wrist.

“Juampi Vaulet will have to undergo surgery. The Argentine player has been injured in a training session at the Nou Congost. He has torn the scapholunate ligament in his left wrist. This injury will force him to undergo surgery, which will entail a approximate time out of about 12 weeks,” says the official statement from the Catalan club.

The evolution of the recovery will mark the exact date of Vaulet’s return to a Manresa team that has won three of six games so far in the Endesa League this season.
