“Vic has nothing to tell.” Thus begins the text that Jorge Javier Vázquez dedicates to the daughter of Infanta Elena and Jaime de Marichalar. “As a product it is a mistake that Victoria Federica does interviews” and adds a resounding “Silence suits him and encourages mystery”. These are the presenter’s taunts in his weekly Readings blog.
Jorge starts off strong with his words about the royal influencer, who has participated in a podcast by Vicky Martín Berrocal: “It is a mistake to expose someone like her.” He argues her theory by echoing Vic’s own words, such as that it is “a girl who wants to take on the world.” He doesn’t relax an inch when he talks about his credentials and chooses them with tweezers: “Love for the emeritus king, passion for bullfighting, two elements that society views with suspicion.”
Jorge continues to tighten the screws when he talks about Vic’s exposure in front of the cameras and assures that for her “television is her enemy” because she “does not have elements to hold onto to endure an interview and nor does she stand out for her friendliness.” The presenter concludes with a “Loving Infanta Elena and Froilán must be the first commandment of every human being who aspires to be called Good People.”
