Isabel Díaz Ayuso remembers her last moments with Concha Velasco: “I saw her as a genius and figure, fun and creative”

Concha Velasco wanted to be an artist. Her passion for the show was so great that her extensive career on stage touched everyone who saw her perform on stage. The artist's coffin arrived around 2:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel installed in the Teatro de La Latina (Madrid), where multiple well-known faces mourn her loss.

At the doors of the theater, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the president of the community of Madrid, mourned the loss of the artist and conveyed her support to her two children, especially Manuel. “His family struggled with his mother's illness. Especially his son Manuel. I wish everyone had a child for him. It is a day for his family and for him. From the Community of Madrid we will pay him different tributes,” said the politician, who has also shared a tender snapshot on her social networks.

Likewise, Ayuso has remembered the last moments she lived with the artist. “I was lucky enough to be recently in the residence where she lived. I saw her as a genius and figure, fun and creative. Reciting poems, remembering fragments of her works,” said the president of the Community of Madrid.
