Guti targets Brazil

Guti's future on the bench points to Brazil. According to the UOL website, the former Real Madrid player and former Almería coach has been offered by an intermediary to Athletico Paranaense to take charge of his bench from next February, when the next season begins in Brazil. Until then, the team will be coached by Paulo Autuori, who from that moment will become only the team's sporting director, since he currently combines both functions.

According to the aforementioned Brazilian media, the Paraguayan agent Santiago Méreles is the person who has contacted the president of Athletico Paranaense, Mario Celso Petraglia, to make the offer. There is still no response from the leaders, but if it is yes, This would be Guti's second adventure as a coach outside of Spain, since he already served as assistant coach at Besiktas from 2010 to 2012. At the moment, Guti is not coaching any team after he managed Almería last season.
