Grealish, for the first time with England

Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) and Harry Winks (Tottenham) have been dropped from the squad by England coach Gareth Southgate for the Nations League matches against Iceland and Dianamarca. Instead, Jack Grealish, captain of Aston Villa, has been called up for the first time for his national team.

Rashforfd and Winks have not been able to attend the camp due to physical problems, so Southgate has decided to call up Jack Grealish, captain of Aston Villa, for the first time in his career.

These casualties are in addition to those of Conor Coady, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and the initial Harry Maguire (following his suspended sentence for a fight in Mykonos).

The 'three lions' team will face Iceland in Reykjavik on Saturday 5 September and Denmark in Copenhagen on Tuesday 8 in Nations League matches.
