Granada ties its great pearl

Adrián Butzke made his debut this Sunday in the First Division, replacing Jorge Molina. After hitting Mallorca with a hat-trick, the veteran striker left his position in the field to the young Granada striker, who made his debut in the First Division. They were Butzke’s first four minutes in the elite and they were another step in his fledgling career. On November 30, Butzke had scored three of the seven goals with which Granada defeated CD Laguna in the Cup, thus becoming the first Granada-born player to score a hat-trick in 16 years. This great moment that Butzke is experiencing will be rewarded by the Andalusian club with the renewal of his contract.

Granada has decided to extend the contract of its great pearl until 2024. The agreement that will be signed in the next few hours could include another season for objectives. The announcement will be made public this week and Butzke will see his good work being rewarded, while Granada ensures the continuity of one of the most promising strikers in Spanish football.

Granada will face Atlético de Madrid this Wednesday in a postponed match of the ninth day, so the club is scheduled to announce the renewal of Butzke next Thursday.
