The Spanish Gisela Pulido easily passed the first cut of the Formula Kite World Championship that is being held in the waters of Hyères (France) after the third day, closing the qualifying series in fourteenth place.
After four new tests this Thursday, Pulido remains among the best ahead of two intense days of the Final Series to define the Top 10 that will compete in the Medal Series on Sunday.
With a wind that has oscillated between 11 and 16 knots, the Spanish added a (13)-9-8-9 to her partial results, accusing the lack of podiums to remain in the highest area of the table, forced to overcome to be in that ‘Top 10’.
The dominance of Lauriane Nolot remains firm in the women’s provisional classification, with the British Eleanor Aldridge in second position tied with the also French Jessie Kampman.
