Find out how all 32 NFL teams rank in Week 15 of 2023.
This is Week 15 of the NFL season in 2023. There were some changes in the top 10 within this week’s Power Rankings after the weekend.
Some teams, like the Cincinnati Bengals or Cleveland Browns, who just lost their top quarterbacks are still in the hunt.
Both teams won close games. The Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Buffalo Bills beat the Kansas City Chiefs. After beating the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Cleveland Browns moved up our list.
Along with the new rankings, our NFL Nation writers listed the biggest changes each team has made since Week 1 of the season.
A group of over eighty writers, editors, as well as TV hosts ranks NFL teams from 1 to 32 based on how well they compare to each other.
The No. 3 seed team in the league standings only leads the No. 11 seed by one game right now. Thirteen teams have records better than 8-5.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have one of them. Six teams are right behind them, with records of 7-6.
A few weeks ago, teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, or Houston Texans looked like they had a chance to be among the best. But now they are falling apart at the worst possible time.
At this point, it’s only clear that the Miami Dolphins offense is very powerful and the Baltimore Ravens can run the ball on anyone. Everything is up for grabs after that.
Over the past few years, it’s become popular to make fun of Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott for not being able to win big games in Dallas.
The truth is that McCarthy consistently was a better coach than the football cult on social media made him look.
He now calls plays for the 10–3 Cowboys, who are currently tied for the lead in the NFC East. That’s showing in a big way.
On Sunday night, the Cowboys beat the Eagles 33–13, which was their first win over a team with a winning record. This proved many doubters wrong and calmed many fans’ worries.
McCarthy taught just a few days after having surgery to remove his appendix. This shows how passionate and tough he is, which is something most people don’t know about him.
It’s not McCarthy’s play-calling that’s changed the Cowboys’ offense the most this season; it’s the person who makes it all work.
Prescott has been great, and he could win the league MVP award. Since October 8, when the 49ers blew out the Cowboys, Prescott has passed 23 touchdowns and only two interceptions. He now has 28 touchdowns, which is the most in the NFL.
In that time, Dallas has won seven of eight games. They might have won eight of eight if not for some mistakes late in the Foxboro loss in early November.
A lot of people thought that McCarthy would lead a more run-heavy approach when he took over as head coach this year.
McCarthy told me that wasn’t going to happen when I told him about it at the league talks in March of last year. He laughed about it.
The story went viral, even though anyone who knows McCarthy’s past knows that’s not his style. The Cowboys have given up on the idea that they are a run-heavy team for a long time.
Early in the season, it did look like the attack wasn’t working together. Things changed after that.
As soon as the line got better, Prescott got into a zone, and outside wide CeeDee Lamb became a real star.
This is a great time for the Cowboys’ attack. Everything seems to be going well. They now have to go on the road to play the Buffalo Bills in a big game.
Because the Eagles beat them so badly, Dallas moved up to No. 2 in my Power Rankings this week.
