Feyenoord announce a second positive in their squad

He Feyenoord has reported a second case of coronavirus in its staff after the tests carried out this Monday. The Dutch team did not want to reveal the name of the player in question due to AVG legislation and the right to privacy of its employees.

The Feyenoord doctor indicates in the statement that the player tested negative in the tests carried out last Friday and that he did not have the virus on Sunday in the game against Sparta, a club that has been informed of the situation.

The Dutch club assures that it is “almost certain” that this second positive comes after the player has had contact with the other playerr that he has the virus and has been in quarantine since Friday.

Players and staff will undergo a new test this Friday before the second preseason game on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. against the Twente in From Kuip.
