Fátima Diame misses the European Championship in Munich due to injury

MADRID, 3 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Valencian athlete Fátima Diame will not finally participate with the Spanish team in the European Championships that will host Munich (Germany) between August 15 and 21 due to injury.

As reported on Wednesday by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA), the long jumper, who last month was at the World Championships in Eugene (United States), has “discomfort” in her left quadriceps.

In this way, Diame will not be able to be part of an expedition that is reduced to 92 components and in which Irati Mitxelena from San Sebastian will be the only representative in the women’s length competition in the Bavarian capital.
