This Friday the judge rejected the provisional release of Antonio Tejado and he did it hours after the lawyer of Maria del Monte e Immaculate Casal presented a document opposing the release of the singer’s nephew from prison.
The Investigative Court number 16 of Seville, moreover, has ruled two weeks after Tejado’s lawyer, Fernando Velo, formally requested his release from prison and has decided, along the lines of the Prosecutor’s Office and the private prosecution – exercised by the artist and his wife – that both he and the rest of those arrested for the violent robbery of the singer’s house in August of last year, remain in jail.
In the order, the judge agrees to maintain the reported provisional detention without bail of the six investigated within the framework of ‘Operation Abgena’. The investigating judge has completely rejected his provisional release and has not chosen to demand a bail of 100,000 euros for his release from prison, which was one of the possibilities.
