Elena and her passion for flamenco fashion: the infanta's most affectionate kiss to Raquel Revuelta

Flamenco fashion, inspiration, Spanish roots and design. Scissors in hand, Infanta Elena has cut the ribbon that marked symbolically the inauguration of the International Flamenco Fashion Week Simof 2024. The event, which is in its 2nd edition, will be held from this Thursday, January 18 to 21. The setting, the Seville Exhibition and Congress Palace (Fibes I).

The International Flamenco Fashion Week is the great event with Andalusian design. Infanta Elena, in love with flamenco and design, has inaugurated this long-awaited event that has become a fundamental reference in the sector over these almost three decades.

Simof promotes and projects flamenco fashion as a window open to the world. They have accompanied the daughter of the emeritus kings, the model and television presenter Nieves Álvarez. The Madrid native, honorary ambassador of the contest, looked spectacular in an avant-garde bullfighter's hat, with wide shoulder pads and a purple polka dot print. Flawless, Nieves has completed her outfit with a low, polished bun. Very flamenco too. Nieves greeted the infanta with his hand.

Next to the model was also, Raquel Revuelta, businesswoman of the Doble Erre firm. Revuelta, who was wearing a Spanish red lady-style dress with a bow at the neck, gave two kisses to Felipe VI's sister. They have both been very affectionate. The president of the Junta de Andalucía also attended, Juanma Moreno. Simof 2024 presents a catwalk of 43 shows in which 72 firms and 98 designers will participate, between new and veterans. More than 1,800 costumes will be seen.
