Edy Tavares, October MVP in the Endesa League

Real Madrid center Edy Tavares was chosen this Sunday as October’s MVP, after closing the month with three out of three wins and an average rating of 23.3 credits, despite missing the first game of this period in the Endesa League.

For the fourth time in his career in the Endesa League, Edy Tavares achieves the designation as Movistar MVP of the month, after being the most effective player in this second month of competition in the domestic tournament, with Madrid at the top of the table .

The one from Cape Verde missed the first game in October due to a respiratory infection but returned as decisive as always. Tavares exceeded 20 rating credits in the three games, with 18 points against UCAM Murcia, 14 and 8 rebounds against Lenovo Tenerife; to close with 8 and 13 against Zunder Palencia.

Tavares achieved this award in the months of February of the 2020-21 season, October of 2021-22 and January of 2022-23. Simon Birgander, from UCAM, has achieved a better average this October (24.3), but has not been a winner because he did not reach 50% of victories in the month (1 victory, 3 losses).
