Djokovic – Thiem duel in Vienna marks the week

A week before the start of the final phase of the Rolex Paris Masters, the last Masters 1,000 of the season (this week the preliminary phase is played), several of the great tennis rackets continue their activity on the circuit with their eyes on The Nitto ATP Finals in London and at the Parisian event and several of the great rackets of the ATP circuit come together this week at the tournaments in Vienna, with the presence of Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem, and the Nur-Sultan Astana Open, in Kazakhstan.

Erste Bank Open (Vienna, October 26 – November 1)

The ATP 500 category Vienna tournament will gather a luxury participation in its 2020 edition, in which the world number 1, Novak Djokovic, starts as a great favorite for the title against tennis players of the stature of Dominic Thiem (current champion of the tournament), Stefanos Tsitsipas, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Gael Monfils or Denis Shapovalov. Pablo Carreño will be the only Spanish representative in the Viennese tournament.

Astana Open (Nur-Sultan, October 26 – November 1)

The Kazakh tournament, included in the atypical ATP calendar for 2020, will feature the participation of Benoit Paire, Miomir Kecmanovic, Adrian Mannarino, John Millman or Tennys Sandgren among other players. Fernando Verdasco will be the only Spaniard to participate in the tournament.
