The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) unveiled this Friday the new details of the Spanish Futsal Super Cup, which in this next edition will be played in Final Four format between February 25 and 27 and whose venue is yet to be confirmed.
The teams participating in the renewed Spain Supercup will be the Barça, as champion of the First RFEF Futsal, Movistar Inter, as champion of the Copa del Rey, The Well Murcia, as the first classified of the last regular league, and Palma Futsal, who obtained his ticket for the Super Cup as second classified in the regular league since the place would go to the champion (Movistar Inter) and finalist (Barça) of the Spanish Cup but both already had their place for the tournament. There is still no scheduled date for the celebration of the draw for the semifinals of the Spain Supercup, but the pairings will come out of a pure draw, with no restrictions on crossings.
With the new format of the Super Cup, the RFEF seeks to reward the champion of the Copa del Rey and, above all, the first classified in the regular league with the possibility of fighting for a new title, since in past editions the tournament faced the champion of the League and that of the Copa de Spain.
