De la Fuente will give the list for the matches against Georgia and Cyprus on September 1

The Barcelona Lamine Yamal, of 16 years, points to great novelty

Santi Denia will in turn give the list of the ‘Under-21’ to start the road to Euro 2025

MADRID, 24 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The men’s national coach, Luis de la Fuente, will give the squad list for the matches against Georgia and Cyprus in the qualifying phase for the Euro 2024 in Germany on September 1, just as Santi Denia will publish the call for the Sub-21 to start the road to Euro 2025.

Spain will return to action after being proclaimed champion of the League of Nations last June in De Kuip (Rotterdam), on penalties against Croatia. The team now resumes qualifying for the next continental event next summer with a phase that already began in March with a victory against Norway and a defeat against Scotland.

As reported by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), De la Fuente will announce his list on Friday, September 1. The duel against Georgia will be in Tbilisi on Friday, September 8 and on Tuesday, September 12 in Grenada against Cyprus. The concentration of Spain will begin next Monday, September 4 in the Ciudad del Fútbol de las Rozas (Madrid).

The coach from La Rioja will announce the footballers mentioned starting at 11:30 a.m. through the official channels of the RFEF. The proper name of the squad could be the young FC Barcelona striker Lamine Yamal, who at 16 seems to be destined to be a star who does not want to let Spain escape, although the player can choose to play with Morocco as well.

The RFEF announced in the same way this Thursday that Santi Denia will give that same September 1 the list of the Under-21, recent European finalist, for the duels against Malta and Scotland. The ‘Rojita’ will thus begin the qualifying phase for Euro 2025 to be held in Slovakia.
