Darius Thompson, MVP of the penultimate day of the Euroleague

The Cazoo Baskonia player Darius Thompson was named MVP of the 33rd round of the Euroleague, after his tremendous performance in his team’s victory (120-100) against ASVEL Villeurbanne on Thursday at the Fernando Buesa Arena.

Thompson achieved his second MVP in what is his first season in the highest continental competition. The American also achieved this appointment on January 27 in the match against Anadolu Efes, in a victory in which the Catalans again surpassed a hundred credits in valuation (114-111).

His second MVP came on Thursday in the offensive recital of the Basques against the French team, to keep the ‘Top 8’ of the table for the last day against Olympiacos, depending on themselves to be in the ‘playoffs’. Against ASVEL, Thompson signed 23 points, 12 assists and 36 valuation credits.
