CSD and SEOM will work together in the fight against cancer

MADRID, 2 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Higher Sports Council (CSD) and the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology (SEOM) will sign an agreement on February 7 (12:00 p.m.) to collaborate in the fight against cancer on the occasion of the World Day against this disease, which will take place this Saturday, reports the CSD in a statement.

The president of the CSD, José Manuel Franco, and the president of SEOM, Enriqueta Felip, will sign this agreement in an act that will also include a round table in which the importance of physical exercise in cancer prevention will be highlighted.

Dr. Miguel Ángel Seguí, coordinator of the SEOM Exercise and Cancer group; and Marisa Coti, president of the Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Association (AMOH) and promoter of the ‘Mujer, Deporte y Cáncer’ project.
