Cristina Pedroche, worried about her marriage with Dabiz Muñoz: “You have to get used to being three”

They form one of the most beloved and consolidated couples on the national scene and since last July there are three at home. The birth of the little girl Laia It has changed everything and they both fight to keep their relationship intact: taking time for themselves and cultivating their love so that it continues to flourish.

Cristina Pedrochewho will ring the Chimes again this end of the year, has been interviewed by Joaquín Sánchez and in the Antena 3 program, which airs this Thursday, she talks at length about her new life as a new mother: “Every day is an opportunity new to enjoy and be happy and my daughter is teaching me that now. And Same with Dabiz, before we were two and now we are three“.

In this way, they have had to put the pieces of their life back together so that everything works: “Well, that, that you have to get used to going from two to three. I'm taking care of the relationship because I keep in mind that before being a mother I am still a woman and a professional. That's why I wanted to join in when breastfeeding. “I was established, I had my milk bank in the freezer and everything was under control.”

Regarding the postpartum, one of the topics that she has addressed the most on her social networks, she has also spoken out again, explaining how difficult it was for her: “I wanted to go back to work because working also helps me psychologically to be well. I have had a complicated postpartum, I have cried a lot and I continue to cry a lot because It's a mourning from the woman I was to the woman I am now.“.

In this sense, she has also spoken about her great fears: “I thought I was going to be braver because I am pushed forward, but with the girl I broke down and everything scares me. And I still have many resources, I was afraid of putting her in in the car, in the stroller, changing her diaper in case it hurt her. And I didn't like people picking her up. I don't want them to look at her or kiss her“.

Although the birth went well and the physical recovery as well, the psychological aspect is measured separately: “I am grateful to my body. Sport has helped me a lot in all periods of my life, but more so during pregnancy. Super good birth, all natural In two weeks I used the same clothes but The head was not well and it does not continue well, I am with a perinatal psychologist, doing therapy. Because every day is a new fear.”

Fortunately, she and the Michelin chef make a great team: “I always try to go for ten. Even if I don't do things so well, I try to surround myself with professionals. Although then she and I take the path… and Dabiz. He is wonderful and supports me in everything. Dabiz tells me 'Relax, the girl only wants you to be happy. If you are happy, the girl will be fine. You can't have more love for this girl, for me too.' I love you, the family we are building is beautiful“.

Regarding the reason why they gave the little girl her surname first, he also said: “The issue of surnames was also very controversial, but that It is a law that I have not invented. That you can choose the last name and put the father or mother's name before it. That her name is Laia Pedroche Muñoz is an option given by the registry. I liked Laia Pedroche, Muñoz there are many“.

On the other hand, they assure that they are willing to expand their family: “I'm only afraid of the postpartum. Now that I see a little bit of the light… Dabiz is the one who wants to have more… Well, a soccer team. But I would like to have a little sister for Laia and I have the name and everything in mind“.
