Come, Vici, Vidi: Amal Clooney arrives in Venice and captures all eyes with a vintage look

The Venice Film Festival is warming up for its new edition (which begins this Wednesday) and the first to arrive have been regulars from the city of canals: George y Amal Clooney. The actor and the lawyer, who live part of the year in Lake Como, have landed this Tuesday wasting happiness and style.

The Lebanese lawyer has captured all eyes with a vintage-style dress. It is a ‘mini’ design with a round neck and sleeveless known as a ‘shift dress’, with a straight cut and a slightly flared edge that was all the rage in the 1960s. Black & white gives the dress a very sophisticated air and the floral print with small heart centers is simply delightful.

Amal has completed the look with Roger Vivier slingback court shoes (790 euros). They are handcrafted in mesh fabric and have a fine lacquered heel of barely 6.5 centimeters, very comfortable for a trip or a day of shopping.

Finally, ‘retro’ style sunglasses with gradient lenses and a leather bag with a top handle. It is signed by 16Arlington and is the Kikka model (1,050 euros), one of the brand’s best sellers, which is characterized by the two outer flaps.

Her husband, sporting a nice summer tan, hasn’t disappointed either. The Oscar-winning actor has opted for a comfortable and casual look made up of a navy blue polo shirt and Italian pants printed with fine vertical stripes that he has combined with classic beige suede shoes.
