Chris Froome announces his reappearance in the Tour of the Arab Emirates

The British Chris Froome Ineos), cudruple winner of the Tour de France, was “excited” after announcing his reappearance in the UAE Tour that takes place from February 23 to 29, once recovered from the serious injury he suffered last June before the start of the Dauphin.

The only World Tour race that takes place in the Middle East to witness the return to the Froome competition, also winner of the 2018 Giro and the Vuelta 2017, confirming its physical progress after the accident suffered on June 12, which allows to continue dreaming with the objective of achieving the fifth Tour de France.

“I am very excited to return to compete in the UAE Tour. I have done a good training block in Gran Canaria and I hope to take the next step in my recovery and return to the force,” explains the cyclist in a video.

Froome adds to an outstanding list of runners announced for the UAE Tour, among which are Alejandro Valverde, 2018 world champion, the Australian Rohan Dennis, which debuts in the Ineos with the arcoris jersey against the clock and the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE), third in the Tour.
