Twenty days after the scandal broke, the Brazilian who filed a lawsuit against the former Lara Dibildos for an alleged crime of sexual assault has dropped all charges. This Thursday, the woman appeared in court and waived before the magistrate to take civil or criminal actions against Cándido Conde-Pumpidoensuring that neither she nor the lawyer were in the best conditions that day.
It has been almost three weeks of a true nightmare for the son of the president of the Constitutional Court, who met this Brazilian woman a few days before breaking up his relationship with Lara Dibildos. According to what she herself reported in her complaint, she went to the lawyer’s house and found him, along with two other friends, partying. He assured that all of them intended to have sexual relations with her and he refused: “I ran to a room and there Cándido grabbed me by the hair and attacked me vaginally and anally.”
Conde-Pumpido and his companions pleaded innocent and after spending the night in the cells, the judge on duty granted them freedom without precautionary measures. To demonstrate her version, her lawyer provided images from the security cameras distributed throughout the defendant’s house, which showed the complainant out of her mind, screaming and banging on the door of the house.
The situation has taken its toll on Conde-Pumpido, who had been suffering from mental problems for years, and caused his symptoms to worsen, forcing him to request emergency medical services at a well-known hospital. Finally, he was admitted to a psychiatric center at the request of his family and after an alleged suicide attempt on his part.
