Cádiz and Osasuna agree not to lose in a delicate situation

MADRID, 10 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Cádiz and Osasuna tied (1-1) this Sunday on matchday 16 of LaLiga EA Sports held at the Nuevo Mirandilla, where both teams were happy not to lose despite barely solving their delicate situation at the bottom of the table.

Roger put the hosts ahead after 20 minutes but, with a penalty, Budimir made it 1-1 in the second half. Cádiz, which marks the salvation, remains on 13 points after 12 days without winning, while Osasuna, which has 'only' gone six without winning, has 16.

The early pace showed this lack of confidence in both teams, until an error behind the visitors helped Cádiz's goal. Chimy Ávila was the one who woke up Osasuna and did so again after the restart, but Conan Ledesma made great saves.

Then came the penalty that Budimir converted, a handball, or rather fingers, from Momo, which only the VAR could see and which brought the score to 1-1 with 20 minutes remaining. Jagoba Arrasate's men did not take advantage of their moment or the momentum of the goal and Sergio González's men, still denying the penalty, did not go ahead either.
