Cádiz and Álvaro Cervera reach an agreement for his dismissal

Cádiz and coach Álvaro Cervera have reached an agreement to close the dispute that both parties had been maintaining for two years over the dismissal of the former coach of the Cádiz team, the Andalusian entity confirmed this Monday.

“Today, the Cádiz Football Club and Álvaro Cervera Díaz have reached an agreement in court by which they put an end to the dismissal procedure that was followed before the Social Court number 3 of Cádiz, an agreement that has resulted possible thanks to the good faith and predisposition of both parties, who have given in their respective claims,” ​​the club said in a statement.

Cervera, who led the yellow team between 2016 and 2022, was dismissed on January 11, 2022, with the nineteenth-placed team in LaLiga EA Sports.

“This agreement puts an end to the period of the best coach in the history of Cádiz Club de Fútbol, ​​who achieved great success for the entity. Cádiz wishes Álvaro Cervera Díaz and his entire coaching staff the best of luck for the future,” he concluded.
