Budimir, out for a month due to the rib trauma suffered against Valencia

MADRID, 17 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Osasuna’s Croatian striker, Ante Budimir, was discharged this Wednesday from the University of Navarra Clinic after presenting a good evolution of the rib trauma suffered in the match against Valencia last Monday for which he remained hospitalized, although he will be at least ” one month” off.

In the imaging tests carried out on Wednesday morning at the University of Navarra Clinic, “the resolution of a minimal pneumothorax secondary to the trauma seen in the x-rays taken in the early hours of Monday was observed,” according to the club’s statement.

Once discharged, Budimir will rest for a week, to later undergo a new radiological check, and “if a positive evolution is confirmed”, the striker could begin to work individually.

“In a month, the consolidation of the fractures will be evaluated through new imaging tests before allowing him to join the team,” concludes the Osasuna statement about the striker, who has scored 16 goals in the League so far, tied with the Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham and only one goal from the Ukrainian Artem Dovbyk, current ‘top scorer’.
