MADRID, 27 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Betis beat CA Osasuna (1-0) this Friday at the start of the third day of LaLiga Santander, full of triumphs that the Betis team kept and that the visiting team was also looking for at the Benito Villamarín.

Manuel Pellegrini’s men put on a tough game, against a rival who was also in tune at the start of the season and who played the last 20 minutes with one more. Thus, Betis goes to bed leader with nine points giving continuity to its great last season.

Borja Iglesias, fourth goal in three games, scored the winning goal with a missile into the net in the 34th minute, just after the clearest one from Osasuna, a ball hit the post by Moi Gómez and the also frank rebound that did not Rubén Peña took advantage.

The Andalusian team demonstrated its punching capacity and the Navarrese team went on to suffer the classic moment of Andalusian inspiration, more so at Villamarín. Álex Moreno winning the band, Fekir reading the game and Carvalho putting his rhythm, overflow and arrival.

However, Osasuna did not leave the game and had the first clear in the second half, with Rubén Peña. Betis, with Canales making his debut and Fekir looking to recover a golden connection, had an answer and also Pellegrini on the bench, with new players signed up.

Villamarín saw the debut of Luiz Henrique, Luiz Felipe and also the first minutes of Guardado, already in added time. By then, Betis was more concerned with defending the 1-0, with one less since 73′ due to a direct red to Pezzella. The Argentine caught Manu Sánchez from behind and the referee saw it clearly.

Not so the local team, which was already with the pique until the end. The locals demanded a penalty from Fekir and another red for an elbow to Canales, and suffered the ‘rojillo’ siege, with Kike García and Budimir searching without success for some centers that were slow to arrive.
