MADRID, 22 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Barça-Real Madrid and Unicaja Málaga-UCAM Murcia will be the semifinals of the Endesa Super Cup, which will be held at the Palacio de los Deportes in Murcia on September 16 and 17, according to the draw held this Tuesday at the Palacio de San Esteban from the Murcian city.

Real Madrid, champion of the last five editions, will face Barça in the first semifinal, which will be a repeat of the last four finals of this competition. While at the other crossroads, UCAM Murcia, the host team, will meet the current Copa del Rey champion, Unicaja de Málaga, who returns to a Super Cup six years later.

The white team will seek in Murcia to make up for the last Endesa League final, in which they lost to Barça, and continue to expand their record in the Super Cup, a tournament in which they are the most successful team with 9 titles, 3 more than the culé set

On the side of the Catalan team, the tournament will be the debut of the team now led by coach Roger Grimau in official competition, and the first contact of the multiple signings undertaken this summer market by the blaugranas.
