Australia presents its great team for Tokyo with Barty, De Miñaur and Kyrgios

Australia will arrive at the Tokyo Olympics with a team willing to fight for anything in tennis competition. Tennis Australia, the Australian federation, has revealed on Tuesday who will be its 11 representatives at the Olympic event, where they start with numerous tricks to assault the medals.

In the women's draw, Australia starts as one of the great favorites with the presence of number 1 in the WTA ranking Ashleigh Barty. Barty, who will play his first Games, will play his first Games together with Ajla Tomljanovic and veteran Samantha Stosur, that she will face her fifth Olympic event at the age of 37, and that they will represent Australia in the women's singles table. Barty and Stosur could also play in doubles, which also include Ellen Perez and Storm Sanders.

Australia also presents a powerful team in the men's category with the presence of Alex de Miñaur, James Duckworth, Nick Kyrgios and John Millman. For De Miñaur, Kyrgios and Duckworth (the latter two will play only in the singles) will be their first Games, while Millman will play for the second time after being in Rio. The Australian team is completed by the duo of John Peers and Luke Saville.
