Athletic closes Lezama to the public due to the new measures adopted by the Basque Government to stop the increase in infections from Covid-19. The Ibaigane club has just announced that all the sporting activities that take place in the rojiblancas facilities will take place behind closed doors.
This measure affects the matches played at home by the women's team led by Angel Villacampa and Bilbao Athletic de Joseba
Etxeberria and it will be active at least for the duration of the restrictions decreed with Decree 36/2020 of last October 26.
At the moment, these restrictions do not affect this weekend. The girls play this Saturday at home, against Valencia (16 hours) and the first subsidiary also does it away, against Portugalete in Florida, on Sunday from 11.30 am.
This decision is in addition to those already adopted a few months ago for training sessions and the rest of the lower category matches.
