Ansu's angel is the last ace up Ronald Koeman's sleeve

Ansu was an invention of Ernesto Valverde, who pulled it out of his sleeve in the summer of 2019 when injuries destroyed Barça in summer and launched the boy to fame under 17 years with his record goals in Pamplona (League) and Milan (Champions), already in the history of the club. But Koeman also believed it from day one and was one of the most hurt by the injury of the player born in Bissau in November of last year.

Koeman has also been one of the happiest for his reappearance almost eleven months later and, paradoxes of life, it may be the last cartridge the Dutchman grabs onto to save his post if the game turns ugly for Barça at Wanda. After playing a quarter of an hour with Levante and just over 20 minutes against Benfica, Ansu works to try to have a little more time against Atlético. The first games after so much absence, however, are not easy. The pains appear and you have to be careful. The Levante game also left a strong emotional impact on Ansu, who ended up in shock and must gradually enter the team. It happens that, to this day, he is already an essential player at Barça.
