This 2024 is very important for both, since Paloma Cuevas’ ex-husband definitively retires from the ring after announcing her sudden goodbye in June 2021.
In this sense, the young woman from Almeria wrote this Friday on her social networks, along with a photo of the Valencian bullfighting a heifer: “My pulse accelerates when I think about how little there is left… to see you shine again.” On the comments wall, Ana has also written in advance: “Thank you to everyone who has been and will be.”
The return to the plazas del matador will arrive on May 17. This bullfight will take place in the bullring of Nimes, in France, where his beloved will also travel to witness the work of the maestro from Chiva, who will share the bill with Alejandro Talavante and David Galván. The young Ana has a special memory of those lines, because it was precisely in that arena where the bullfighter gave so much to talk about by drawing an A on the sand, at the beginning of this intense relationship.
This will not be the place where Ponce retires. After passing through Seville or the Madrid Fair, everything seems to indicate that he will cut his ponytail on October 9 at his home, Valencia. With Ana Soria he has many plans and a life that is more than settled in Almería, where the two are building the house of their dreams. There, Palomita and Bianca’s father, at 52 years old, will experience retirement (bullfighting and gold), while the future lawyer, 24 years old, has an entire professional career ahead of her.
