The company, specialized in industrial and agricultural self-consumption facilities, will move its headquarters to the Zaragoza Logistics Platform (PlaZa) to respond to its growth needs, which will lead it to exceed two million euros in turnover, in addition to expanding template.
AMB Green Power will have in PlaZa new facilities of 600 square meters and 145 square meters for offices in which it will undertake an investment of around 500,000 euros between the acquisition and the refurbishment works.
In this warehouse, AMB Green Power will install its headquarters, which is currently located in the capital of Zaragoza (technical and commercial office) and which “is too small for us. It is taking a leap to grow”, says Manuel Benedí, CEO of AMB Green Power, a the Economist
The new facilities will also allow the company to concentrate all its activity on this point since, in addition to the Zaragoza headquarters, it also has warehouses in Brea de Aragón and Valdespartera.
The forecast is to start the refurbishment works in November to begin operating from the new headquarters in February of next year. The facilities will have various areas to store solar photovoltaic modules and cables, among other materials, and have stock. In addition, there will be office areas with dining room and changing rooms, among others.
The new facilities, located in front of Amazon, will allow the company to gain momentum, which not only works in the Aragonese community, although this autonomy accounts for around 90% of its turnover. Within Aragon, Zaragoza accounts for 60%, followed by Huesca with 25% and Teruel with close to 15%.
The company, which was born in 2006, is betting on its national expansion, having already carried out projects in areas such as Alicante, Madrid or Barcelona.
So far this year, AMB Green Power has already executed 15 industrial and agricultural self-consumption facilities with a power of around 2.5 MW. Now, the renewable energy company adds three new developments of photovoltaic projects for the sale of grid connection energy of around 25 MW. These projects are now in the phase of obtaining the permits to begin their execution. In addition, the company plans to execute another 15 installations of around 2 MW of power between now and January.
This activity of the company will have a positive effect on the generation of employment and billing. AMB Green Power has a workforce made up of eight direct and eight indirect jobs. The forecast is to hire four people with profiles of engineer, administration, marketing and assembly in the field.
Since 2017, the family business has been growing in turnover in the self-consumption area at a rate of 20% per year. “It could have grown more, but our policy is a sustainable and sustained growth because they are customized installations.”
The company will have a turnover of approximately 1.8 million euros in 2021, and it is expected to exceed 2 million euros in 2022. “They are good and realistic forecasts” for the company’s project portfolio, which carries out self-consumption installations mainly for industry (power generation) and agrarian (power for poultry and pig farms and solar pumping for farms).
