Almería wants to resume the path of victory against Zaragoza

MADRID, 9 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Almería will seek this Saturday to resume the path of victory in the League after two consecutive draws, in their confrontation with Real Zaragoza (6.15 pm), a vital duel so as not to waste their juicy advantage at the beginning of the classification in the SmartBank League at the beginning of the twentieth day.

Rubi’s team had seven victories in a row until last November 27 it was stopped by Huesca. That draw led to another equalizer last week against Fuenlabrada (1-1) and this Saturday they will try to add the three points so as not to give life to Ponferradina, who visits Leganés, hurt after their last defeat, or to Eibar, who receives to Malaga also on Saturday from 8.30 pm.

Those of Gaizka Garitano, in the heat of Ipurua, hope not to fail against the Andalusians, who face the stake after their unexpected defeat at La Rosaleda against Amorebieta. A victory would allow the gunsmiths to continue in the fight for second place and open distance with the Canary Islands Tenerife and Las Palmas, as well as with the fifth-placed Valladolid, waiting for their matches.

Pacheta’s pupils will have to wait for Sunday to face Real Oviedo in the José Zorrilla, a fundamental clash for the pucelanos, who intend to find the regularity that gives them more options to consolidate the ‘playoff’ and continue dreaming of getting closer to the two first positions.

In addition, in other matches of the day, Tenerife-Lugo and Amorebieta-Las Palmas stand out, the latter of vital importance for the Basques if they want to continue rowing to get out of the relegation places. The Mirandés-Real Sociedad B will close the day this Monday in another match with shared interests for leaving the hot zone of the table.
