Albert Torres, runner-up in the world in the track cycling scoring event


The Spanish Albert Torres (Movistar Team) was proclaimed runner-up in the world this Wednesday in the scoring test during the Track Cycling World Championships, which is taking place in Glasgow (Scotland), after falling behind the New Zealander Aaron Gate in the final .

Thus, Torres concluded the test with 107 points, while Gate led the qualifying table with 123 points. Belgian Fabio van den Bossche, with 95 points, completed the podium to take the bronze medal at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
