Al-Khelaïfi: “I didn’t see Real Madrid’s statement about Mbappé, we are focused on ourselves”

MADRID, 7 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, revealed this Tuesday that he did not see the statement from Real Madrid in which he described his alleged negotiations with French forward Kylian Mbappé as “flatly false”, arguing that the Parisian club is “focused” on them and “not on others.”

“I have not seen the statement from Real Madrid about Mbappé, we are all focused on ourselves and our work, not on others,” said the president of the French club in an interview with the Italian media La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Al-Khelaïfi thus responded to Real Madrid’s statement, describing their alleged negotiations to sign Mbappé, current PSG forward, as “flatly false”, based on recent information published by different media outlets.

“Kylian continues to add successes and people take it for granted, but no one has played two world finals in a row and also scored a hat-trick. He is the best in the world and it is fantastic to see him boost PSG and France. He has a positive effect on our young people, helps us build our future and legacy,” he praised the French striker, Real Madrid’s object of desire for several seasons.
