This Sunday, the FC Barcelona women’s player Aitana Bonmatí offered the Ballon d’Or won this year to the Barcelona fans just before the start of the match between the men’s team and Deportivo Alavés at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
The footballer from Sant Pere de Ribes won the 2023 Ballon d’Or on October 31. She already experienced Johan Cruyff’s tribute, along with the precious trophy, before Barça-Sevilla in the F League, and this Sunday she jumped onto the Montjuïc field to receive a new ovation.
The day has served as a precedent for the culé, who will debut in Montjuïc next weekend with Jonatan Giráldez’s team against Real Madrid on the ninth day of League F.
