MADRID, 27 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
“RCD Mallorca and Abdón Prats have reached an agreement to renew the player’s contract for two more seasons, until June 2026,” the Balearic entity announced on its website.
Both parties reached an agreement after “fluid negotiations due to the good understanding” between the player and the club and also thanks to the “desire of both to continue” a path that began in the 2017-2018 season.
Between his two spells at Mallorca, the forward has made 213 official matches with the vermilion first team, in which he has scored 48 goals. Prats collaborated in three promotions with the Balearic team, also being “decisive” in “critical” moments with the category at stake. This season he has already accumulated 4 goals in LaLiga and 3 more in the Cup.
“It is a special moment because our path is lengthening. I have always said that my dream and my desire is to finish my career at Mallorca. Here I have become a man, a mature footballer. I have not yet done everything with Mallorca. “I lacked the continuity that I am having this season and the regularity in terms of goals in the First Division to expand my history with Mallorca,” said Abdón Prats.
In statements published by the club, the forward assured that he wants to “continue scoring and being happy on the field” wearing the Mallorca shirt. “I’m in my best moment, but there is still room for improvement. I can bring more joy, we have Abdón for a while. I would love to win a title with Mallorca. Why not dream?”, concluded the player.
