Barça issued an official statement this Thursday afternoon in which it announced that it has asked the Generalitat for the Vote of Censorship to take place on November 15 and 16 to be able to adapt the protocol to health requirements and also guarantee the safety of the members who are called to vote in the referendum against Bartomeu. It is estimated that between 40,000 and 50,000 people could vote.
The meeting between Barça and the Generalitat was attended by, on behalf of the Government, Meritxell Masó, Secretary General of the Presidency, Beth Abad, Secretary General of Interior, Marc Ramentol, Secretary General of Health, and Gerard Figueras, Secretary General of l'Esport . On behalf of Barça, Jordi Cardoner, vice president of the social area, and Òscar Grau, CEO of the club, attended.
The Més que una Moció platform insists that Barça, in order to comply with the statutes, must set the dates of November 1 and 2 for the vote, but they have already made it clear that they will accept what the Generalitat says. So, for now, the dates of November 15 and 16 appear as the most likely for the vote.
