Sevilla announces the positive of Koundé by Covid-19

Bad news at Sevilla. The club announced late in the afternoon on Thursday that Frenchman Jules Koundé tested positive for Covid-19 in the test to which he was subjected to the return of the concentration with the U21 team of his country. The press release also reports that Koundé is asymptomatic and that the relevant quarantine has already begun.

Koundé had no contact with any of his teammates when he returned from his international commitments, so there is no need to fear any kind of outbreak in the Seville dressing room. This is the third positive in the team after those suffered by Munir and Gudelj.

In this way, Koundé will be low in Granada and Lopetegui will have to modify his defense. Sergi Gómez and Rekik are the candidates to replace him.
